KMC OFFICIAL "DENIED" FIRST AID BY POLICE AFTER FIRE STATION ATTACK

Karachi: In yet another instance of neglect, the police in Karachi decided not to take an injured member of the fire brigade department of the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) to the hospital after an armed attack, instead choosing to record his statement.

In the Korangi fire station attack case, two members of the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation's (KMC) fire brigade department were shot to death, and a third sustained severe injuries. Instead of transporting the injured fire brigade official to the hospital for first help, the police disobeyed the police chief's orders and recorded the official's statement first at the site of the crime and then in an ambulance.

In the early hours of Saturday, unidentified assailants opened fire on a fire station near Bilal Chowrangi in Karachi's Korangi neighborhood, killing two employees. Two firefighters were killed, and one was injured when the mysterious individuals attacked the fire station and started shooting randomly. The fourth employee, meantime, escaped the scene and preserved his life.

When two armed persons invaded the building, Mehboob was on guard duty, and Zeeshan was on operator duty, the eyewitness told the media. The police have accused unidentified individuals of attacking the fire station next to Bilal Chowrangi in Karachi's Korangi neighborhood. According to police, the FIR was filed on suspicion of murder, attempted murder, terrorism, and violating the explosives legislation.
