Hello! This is Parrotias, an internationally leading supplier of personal protective equipment that provides customers with different types of PPE products that are distinguished by their functionality in various concepts. We are looking for a Motion Design Intern to support our production team in content creation which enhances visual communication and brand identity. Our ideal candidate should have experience in video creation of gifs, and animation, be willing to work in a team while still being able to work alone, exercise critical thought, be open-minded and adaptable, and have a meticulous eye for detail.
Responsibilities
Work with illustrators and designers to ensure project objectives are aligned with company goals.
Develop detailed storyboards for video segments that are in line with the company's creative strategy.
Create animations and gifs for websites and social media.
Convert and edit videos in the post-production phase.
Stay up to date with industry trends and technological innovation.
Essential skills
Fluent in both written and spoken English.
Academic background in motion graphics, graphic design, multimedia design or a related area.
Previous experience in video editing, motion design, or equivalent.
Working knowledge of relevant design software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro etc.)
Responsibility to meet deadlines and detail-oriented.
The ability to work both individually and with a team.
Desired skills
Critical thinking, intellectual curiosity, adaptability and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
Effective communication skills include speaking, active listening, and observing.
Ability to work on multiple projects at once.
Prior entry-level sales experience is a plus.
More information:
Duration: The internship should ideally last between 3 and 6 months.
Hours: You must commit to working 20 hours per week. Monday through Friday, 4 hours per day.
You will be required to fulfil daily tasks that can take from 2 to 4 hours.
Team: Your team will consist of 10-12 interns and a manager.
Please note that this is an unpaid internship. Upon completion of the internship, we will provide you with a reference letter and a certificate. Since this is a remote internship, you will have a flexible and independent schedule with great growth opportunities.
